This course will take place at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Sacramento (conference hotel) afternoon class will begin at 11:30 AM
Why Attend?
The unique operation of Network Systems requires specialized training to ensure adequate equipment selection. This includes Network Protectors, Transformers, fuses and associated equipment. Because companies expand and widen areas of responsibilities, many times the experience gained on Network Systems is lost and is important to stay up-to-date on the required training.
Course Content:
- Network Protector Relay Theory and Operation fundamentals
- Network Relay Operation Details, Setpoints and Network Protector Reactions
- Network Systems and Power Flow Systems
- Network Systems Level Considerations including System Impedance Angle Analysis Comprehensive Spot Network Power Flow Simulation
This is an engineering level course that includes mathematical computations. A scientific calculator is recommended. A Laptop computer with MS Excel is preferred but not required. Load Analysis program (in Excel) and class notebook will be provided with each registration.
